The Cocalico school community has showed its support of victims of the recent hurricanes through various efforts. A staff dress down day raised over $3,100 for the American Red Cross, and in particular, for Hurricane Harvey relief. In addition, Denver Elementary collected 195 pairs of new or gently-used shoes for an elementary school in Vidor, Texas. Reamstown Elementary students and staff collected and sent books to schools in the Houston area, and three 4th graders at Reamstown held their own student-run bake sale at Weaver Markets o
n October 6. They raised over $600 for hurricane relief efforts. Thank you to the Cocalico community for your generosity and support for those in need!
