District Football Game - THIS FRIDAY

Tickets for this Friday night's District football game vs. Cedar Crest can be purchased at Cocalico High School Tuesday morning through Friday at noon. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. No passes will be accepted. Please remember: Stadium seats cannot be reserved until the gates open at 5:20 pm on Friday night.

Career Day at Cocalico Middle School

Students at Cocalico Middle School learned all about careers last week during the Annual Career Day. Thank you to the countless volunteers who presented to the students. Some of the careers highlighted included police, EMS, and firefighters; bankers; business owners; cosmetologists; news anchors and sports reporters; health care workers; and many others!

Running to State Competition

Congratulations to Cocalico's medal winners at the District 3 competition this past weekend - Evan Kreider, 2nd place medalist, and Jamie Zamrin - 5th place medalist!  Both runners have qualified for the state competition to be held in Hershey on Saturday, November 4.  Best of luck to both athletes!

CSD Reaches Volunteer Milestone

On Monday, October 23, Cocalico School District welcomed its 1,000th volunteer! It is amazing to have so many wonderful parents and community members volunteering to inspire and support learning for every child, every chance, every day! Thank you to each and every one of you!

Cocalico Education Foundation Wins Food Challenge!

Thank you to all Cocalico fans who supported Ephrata Area Social Services by bringing non-perishable food to last Friday's football game! Your generosity helped the Cocalico Education Foundation "score" $1,200 in the Cocalico-Ephrata food challenge! THANK YOU!

Ephrata Area Social Services (EASS) is sponsoring a friendly competition between rivals, Cocalico and Ephrata, during their football game this Friday evening at War Memorial Stadium. All Cocalico fans are asked to bring non-perishable food items to the game and place them in the Cocalico Education Foundation boxes at the gate.  The school district that brings in the most food will win 55% of a monetary prize for their education foundation. The second-place district's education foundation will receive 45% of the money. All food items should be unexpired and can be canned/boxed.

Book Bingo at Reamstown

It was a full house at Reamstown Elementary last Friday for the Annual PTA Book Bingo! Students and their families were treated to an evening of fun, games, and books. Prize winners were able to choose from a vast selection of age-appropriate books.  Thank you to the Reamstown PTA for inspiring and supporting learning for every child, every chance, every day at Reamstown Elementary!

Cocalico Student Leaders Attend Conference

Several of the student leaders at Cocalico Middle School and Cocalico High School attended an Aevidum Leadership Conference at Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 on Tuesday, October 17. They shared their Aevidum club ideas with many other local school districts. These student leaders help to carry out the mission of the district - to inspire and support learning for every child, every chance, every day! Thank you students!
